How to Make a Discount



To apply discounts and waive taxes on your POS, follow these steps:

Applying a Discount to a Specific Menu Item:



Select the menu item name when placing an order.

Click "Special Request."

Then, click "Item Discount."

For example, apply a 10% discount on the menu item.

Applying this discount will not affect the prices of other menu items in the order.

Applying a Discount to the Entire Order:



Click the "Discount" button at the bottom of the screen.

Select the desired discount percentage (e.g., "15%") to give a discount on the entire order.

Waiving Taxes for the Order:



Click "Tax."

Then select "No Tax."

Tax will not be applied to this order.

Applying or Changing Discounts on the Payment Page:



If there is a discount on a menu item, you can place or change the discount on that specific menu item on the payment page.

For example, if the menu item was initially 10% off, you can change it to 15% off.

You can also apply a discount to the entire order on the payment page.

Click the discount button to enter the discount.


By following these steps, you can easily apply discounts to specific menu items, the entire order, and even waive taxes as needed in your POS system.
