# FrontStation - How to operate tax exempt for items?

# How to operate the tax exempt function on FrontStation? 

**Steps are as follow:**

> Tips：You can modify the tax exempt before or after placing an order. If you make a mistake after placing an order， you can re-open the configuration to modify the [EXEMPT] or [RESET].


1. Tax exempt：You need to enter the order shopping cart， go to the [· · ·] - [Tax Exempt] page， enter the tax exempt number， and click [EXEMPT] to operate the tax exempt function.

2. Cancel tax exempt：You need to enter the [· · ·] - [Tax Exempt] page of the order shopping cart again and click [RESET].
