# KwickPOS - How to Set Up Item Unit

**Scenario**: some merchants sell their items by pound other than by per item.
**Resolution**: set item unit as per pound in back office

New Back Office (version 865 and newer)

1. Go to Tools - Back Office - Menu - Items

2. Find the item and click the pencil button on the right

3. Click the drop-down menu in "Price Type" then select "Per LB"

4. Click "Save".


**Old Back Office (Version 864 and older)**


1. Go to Tools - Back Office - Advance - Menu

2. Click the exist unit to change.
