CardPointe - Using the Virtual Terminal on App
CardPointe is a comprehensive and secure cloud-based platform that makes accepting and managing payments simple. Using CardPointe, you can: Authorize, capture, void, and refund transactions from your desktop or mobile device. Mobile App can only preform particle actions. For full assess to your CardPointe account, please use the website page.
Note: The method provided in the article is only recommend when terminal or computer is not function correctly. Hand swipe card will increase the risk of getting charge back.
First, locate the App Store or Play Store (Google Play) on your phone.
Search for the Cardpointe App and download it.
Open the App and log in with the account and password.
Account registration link will be sent to merchant's private email address, please login with email to register. If you are having problem logging in, please contact your agent or merchant service. If you forgot the password, please click 'forgot password' button to reset.
Again: Please ONLY use this function on an emergency circumstance.
Click the three bar icon on the upper left hand corner and click "Virtual Terminal"
Enter the amount and select the green button
Select the payment method
Enter the credit card information of the customer (card number, expiration date, and customer name)
Ask the customer to sign
Enter the email address for the customer to receive a digital receipt
Click the three bar icon on the upper left hand corner and click "Reporting"
Click "Tip Adjust"
Select the transaction you would like to add or adjust the tip for
Enter the tip amount and press the green button
*Please note that this action can not be undo, so please make sure the transaction you want to void is correct.
Select the desired transaction from the list on the Transactions screen.
Tap VOID at the bottom of the screen.
Confirm action.

Log In To The CardPointe App

Click the three bar icon on the upper left hand corner and click "Reporting"
Click "Tip Adjust"

Voiding a Transaction
*Please note that this action can not be undo, so please make sure the transaction you want to void is correct.
Select the desired transaction from the list on the Transactions screen.
Tap VOID at the bottom of the screen.
Confirm action.
