Front Manager - How to set shareholder/employee account to log in the APP?

How to set shareholder/employee account to log in to the APP?

💡 Configure secure login methods and feature permissions for non-Owner accounts such as chain store shareholders or store employees.

  • You need to set this up in Front's merchant dashboard. Please log in to 💻 Admin.fronttab.com

I. Account Login Type Settings

This step controls which platform the account can log in to.

Path: [Admin.fronttab.com] → [Organization] → [Employee] → [Edit] → [Login account]

  1. On the Employee Management page, please navigate to the "Account Login" setting item.

  1. Select Login Type:

  • [All Platforms Login]: This account can use a phone number to log in to the APP (e.g., Front Manager). This is suitable for roles that require mobile operation or data viewing (e.g., shareholders, high-permission employees).

  • [Station Only]: This account can only log in to the POS (Station) end and can use a PIN for quick login. This is suitable for roles that only need on-site operations (e.g., waiters, cashiers).

II. Front Manager APP Module Permission Configuration

This step is used to configure the functional modules that a specific role can see and operate within the APP.

Path: [Admin.fronttab.com] → [Organization] → [Role Management] → [Edit] (Select the role to configure) → [Permissions: Front Manager APP]

  1. On the Edit Role screen, please navigate to the [Permissions: Front Manager APP] module.

  1. Configure Functional Modules: Based on the shareholder/employee's responsibilities, please flexibly check or uncheck the functional modules this role can use in the APP (e.g., [Report], [Menu Management], etc.).

  • Friendly Reminder: Checking the box means the role has that permission; unchecking means they do not have the permission.

[Example]

If a chain store shareholder only needs to view report data for a specific store, you only need to add a shareholder account with the same phone number under that store and only grant the [Report] module permission. This achieves precise data access control.
