How to Set Buy One Get One Free (BOGO) in the Front Merchant Portal?


šŸš€ The BOGO (Buy One Get One Free) feature is designed to help you effectively boost sales for specific items and quickly attract customers to place orders—making it a key "revenue secret" for your store.


Follow the steps below:


I. Quick Login and Access


  1. Enter admin.fronttab.com into your browser and log in using your merchant account and password.



  1. Navigate to the menu bar: 怐Marketing怑 āž” 怐Buy One Get One Free怑.



  1. On the settings page, click the 怐Create BOGO怑 button to begin.




II. Configuration Details


  1. Basic Configuration
  • Toggle 怐Enable BOGO怑: Ensure the switch is turned on so the promotion is "Active."
  • Promotion Naming: Fill in the Promotion Name-English and Promotion Name-Chinese (e.g., "Tuesday Burger Fest") to help you distinguish between different promotional plans in the backend.



  1. Set Promotion Rules
  • Select Items: Click 怐Select怑 to choose the specific item you wish to promote from your menu. Currently, the system supports "Buy A, Get A Free" (identical items). The option "The purchased item and the free item must be identical" is locked by default.
  • Set Gift Limit: You can define a "Limit of free items per identical purchased item."
  • Example: If set to 5, a customer buying 10 items will still only receive 5 for free; the remaining items will be charged at the original price to protect your profit margins.



  1. Period and Time Management
  • Days Of Week: Select specific days (e.g., weekdays only).
  • Validity: Set specific Dates Available (start and end dates) or check the Long Term box.
  • Time Period: Set specific times for the promotion to be active, such as "Lunch Specials" or "Dinner Specials" (e.g., 11:00 AM - 02:00 PM).



  1. Save and Go Live
  • Click 怐Save怑. Your promotional items will immediately sync to the "Rewards & Deals" section at the top of the online ordering interface.
  • Note: The BOGO feature is only applicable to the Online Order channel.





III. Online Order Display Effect




šŸ’” Important Notes


  • To avoid material loss from accidental orders or "no-shows" for unpaid orders, the BOGO feature only supports online credit card payments. Please ensure your online payment system is active before enabling this feature.
  • The system only waives the cost of the base item. If the item includes paid Modifiers (add-ons/sides), the system will still charge for those modifiers to ensure your additional costs are covered.
