How to Set Up Coupons in the Front Merchant Portal?


Coupons are essential tools for attracting new customers and rewarding loyal ones 💎. They help you precisely control marketing costs and improve customer conversion rates. Follow this guide to complete professional-level promotion configurations in just a few minutes.


I. Quick Login and Access


  1. Enter admin.fronttab.com in your browser and log in with your merchant account and password.



  1. Navigate to the menu bar: 【Marketing】, then select 【Coupon Management】.


  1. Click the 【Add Coupon】 button on the page.




II. Detailed Coupon Configuration


  1. On the "Add Coupon" setup page, please fill in the details according to your marketing needs:


  • Discount Type: Choose between "Fixed amount" (e.g., $5 off) or "Percentage" (e.g., 10% OFF).
  • Discount Code: Set the code customers enter at checkout; you can customize it or use "Generate random code".
  • Discount Value / Discount Rate: Depending on the selected type, enter the specific dollar amount or the percentage rate.
  • Quantity: Set the total number of coupons available (e.g., 10,000) to control your marketing budget.
  • Effective Date: Set the exact start and end date and time. If it is a long-term promotion, check "Permanently valid".
  • Discount Limit: Choose "No minimum requirements" or "Minimum purchase amount" (e.g., valid on orders over $X) to protect your margins.
  • Customer Eligibility: Select your target audience, such as "All Members" or "New Members," to tailor the discount to specific groups.
  • Maximum Discount Uses: Set the maximum number of times an individual customer can use the coupon; leave blank for unlimited uses.
  • This discount can be combined with (Redeem Points): Decide if customers can use this coupon while simultaneously redeeming points. Checking the box allows combination; unchecking it prohibits it.



  1. Once all information is filled in, click 【Save】. Return to the coupon list and ensure the status is 【Active】 for the promotion to take effect.




III. Coupon List Management


On the list page, you can track the performance of your campaigns at any time:


  1. Status Tracking: The system displays real-time status, such as "Active" or "Scheduled".
  2. Usage Statistics: The list shows "Used/Total" data (e.g., 0/1000), giving you a direct view of the campaign's popularity.
  3. Management Actions: You can view, edit (for inactive coupons), or delete campaigns as needed.




IV. Important Notes


To ensure your campaign runs smoothly, please keep these rules in mind:


  1. Modification Restrictions: Once a coupon reaches its "Start Date," the details cannot be modified. Please double-check settings before they go live or delete and recreate if a correction is needed.
  2. Stacking Rules: Only one coupon can be used per order at checkout to control promotion costs.
  3. Automatic Exposure: Once set up, Online Order pages may automatically display promotional windows to guide customers to use the coupons, reducing the need for manual advertising.
