How to Configure the Menu Display Position on Front Station? 🛠️

You can customize the display position (Top/Right) of the menu and categories on the ordering interface. This allows you to adapt the layout to different store workflow habits and hardware screen sizes, ultimately boosting your ordering efficiency.

The steps are as follow:

1. Navigation Path

Navigate to 【Front Station】 ➔ 【More】 ➔ 【Business Model Settings】 ➔ 【Menu Display Position】.

2. Configure Menu & Category Positions

In the pop-up window, choose the layout that best fits your operational habits:

【Top】

• Description: When selected, menus and categories will be displayed horizontally across the top of the ordering page for quick switching.
• Visual Effect: When adding items with modifiers, the system will showcase a brand-new MOD selection layout style.

【Right】

• Description: When selected, the menu will be compactly hidden in a dropdown selection box right above the categories.
• Visual Effect: The interface becomes much cleaner; you can simply tap the tabs on the right side to quickly browse through menu categories.

3. Configure Rows & Columns Display Density

Depending on the menu position you select, the system dynamically provides detailed configuration options:

Scenario A: When the position is set to 【Top】

• Menu Rows: You can choose to display either 1 row or 2 rows. Adjust this flexibly based on the number of menus you have to balance the screen space for the dishes area.

Scenario B: When the position is set to 【Right】

• Category Columns: You can choose to display either 1 column or 2 columns. If your category names tend to be long, selecting 2 columns is highly recommended for a better reading experience.
