How to set Table Map on FrontStation?


" Table Map " enables visual table management. Your staff can check the status of each table at a glance ( such as Not In Use, Assigned, Ordered, and Paid ) so that they can provide services to customers in a timely manner, thereby improving your customer satisfaction.


Tips:


  1. If you have not set the [Table Map] by default, the [Menu] homepage will be displayed as shown below:

  1. After you set the table map, only the table information released under each area of ​​the [Table Map] will be displayed on the [Menu] homepage, as shown below:

The steps to set the table map are as follow ⚙️:


How to edit existing table on the table map:


  1. First, you need to go to [Settings] - [Table Management], select the corresponding table area to be edited, and navigate to the [Table Map] canvas.


  1. Then click the [Edit] button in the upper right corner to enter the editing page, then click the [➕] button in the upper right corner and select [Edit existing table]. At this time, you can design according to the existing different tables.


  1. After you select the table, select the corresponding table shape and support different table shape settings [XYWH], set the coordinate position of the table on the canvas according to X or Y, and set the width and height of the table according to W or H,Then click [Sure], and the edited table will be displayed on the table map canvas. It also supports you to manually drag the position or enlarge/reduce the size for customization.


  1. After you have edited the existing tables again according to the steps, click the [Save] button in the upper right corner, and it will prompt "Save Successfully". At this time, the table map of the corresponding table area will be displayed on your [Menu] homepage,and it will be displayed according to the position and size defined in the table map canvas.

How to create a new table:


  1. First, you need to go to [Settings] - [Table Management], select the corresponding table area where you need to add a new table, and navigate to switch the [Table Map] canvas.


  1. Then click the [Edit] button in the upper right corner to enter the edit page, then click the [➕] button in the upper right corner and select [Create a new table]. At this time, you can create a new table.


  1. You need to fill in the table name (limited to 15 characters),number of people,remarks (optional),and then select the corresponding table shape. After you customize the canvas [XYWH],save it.

How to create new partition:


  1. First, you need to go to [Settings] - [Table Management], select the corresponding table area where you need to create a new table partition, and navigate to switch the [Table Map] canvas.


  1. Then click the [Edit] button in the upper right corner to enter the edit page, then click the [➕] button in the upper right corner and select [New partition]. At this time, you can choose vertical partition or horizontal partition on the canvas.


  1. The partition style you adjusted will also be displayed on the [Menu] homepage.

How to delete the table/partition displayed in the table map:


  1. First, you need to go to [Settings] - [Table Management], select the corresponding table area to be processed, and navigate to switch the [Table Map] canvas.


  1. Then you need to select the corresponding table/partition, click the [🗑️] symbol at the top of the page, and then confirm the deletion and save. After deleting here, the table/partition information in your [List] will also be deleted.

How to edit the table shape:


  1. First, you need to go to [Settings] - [Table Management], select the corresponding table area to be edited, and navigate to the [Table Map] canvas.


  1. Then select the table whose shape needs to be edited, click the [✏️] symbol at the top of the page, and the editing page will pop up. Modify the shape and confirm to save.

How to copy table graphics:


  1. First, you need to go to [Settings] - [Table Management], select the corresponding table area to be edited, and navigate to switch the [Table Map] canvas.


  1. Then select the table to be copied, long press the table until the "Copy Shape" pops up, and you can choose "Copy the shape to an existing table" or "Copy the shape to create a new table" to customize it.

How to save and exit:


  1. After you customize the table map according to the above steps, click Save in the upper right corner to save normally, and then return.


  1. There is another situation where you forget to save and return directly. The system will prompt " Do you want to save the table layout? ". You can confirm the change to take effect, and cancel the change to not take effect.
