How to set Screensaver Mode on Front Station?


Setting up Screensaver Mode 🔒 automatically triggers a screensaver or log-out mechanism when your Front Station system is inactive for an extended period, in order to protect your system security and prevent unauthorized operations.


Specific steps are as follow:


  1. Enable Feature: You need to navigate to [Front Station] → [More] → [Business Model Settings] → [Screensaver Mode], and then turn on the switch on the right side.



  1. Set Inactivity Duration: In the [Duration Options] for Screensaver Mode, please select how many minutes the system should wait after being inactive before entering the configured screensaver mode.



  1. Configure Screensaver Mode Option: You can choose how the system handles the timeout based on your store's security requirements.

  • Function Description: When the system screen is inactive and the set time countdown ends, the system only enters screensaver status but maintains the current logged-in state.


  • How to Resume: Once you are at the screensaver, you only need to re-enter your PIN to return to the original system operation page, without needing to log in again.




[Back to Login Page]


  • Function Description: When the system is inactive and the set time countdown ends, the system will automatically log out and return to the login page.


  • How to Resume: You need to re-enter the Owner's login password or PIN to log in to the system before you can access the operation interface.
