How to use the cash out function?

💰 Accurately record temporary, non-sales-related cash outflows occurring at the store (such as incidental purchases, paying tips, etc.) to help ensure transparency of the cash flow (House Cash) at the POS terminal and financial accuracy.

Steps are as follow:

I. How to Use on the POS Terminal

Path: [Front Station APP] → [More] → [Cash Out]

1. Add Record: You can add temporary cash out records here by clicking Add Cash Out.

2. View Records: By default, all cash out records for the current month are displayed, and filtering by criteria is supported.

II. Permission Configuration (Admin Merchant Backend)

To ensure the security of cash outs, this function is permission-controlled. You need to decide who has permission to use this function.

Path: [Admin.fronttab.com] → [Organization] → [Role Management] → [Edit] → [Permissions]

• Roles with default permission: Owner, Manager.

• Permission Adjustment: You can check or uncheck the [Cash Payout] permission for other roles (such as Cashiers) based on the actual needs of your store.

III. Receipt Printing Configuration (Admin Merchant Backend)

Our system supports printing a "Cash Out Receipt" as a voucher. You need to configure this printing scheme first before printing it on the POS.

Path: [Admin.fronttab.com] → [Printer] → [Printer Management] → [Edit] → [+ Cash Out Printer]

• Configuration Requirement: You need to manually add and configure the "Cash Out Printer" (Cash Out Receipt) printing scheme in the settings for the corresponding printer.

• Supported Languages: Supports printing in both Chinese and English.

IV. Report Statistics

Please be aware that Cash Out data is automatically included in reports to ensure financial consistency.

• House Cash Deduction: The Cash Out amount will be automatically deducted from the House Cash.

• Statistics Scope: Covers Sales Reports and Employee Reports, supporting statistics of Cash Out amounts by device and employee.

• Output Support: Data can be displayed and exported in reports, and supports receipt printing.
